The new 2016 Chester County Local Farm Products guide is now available.

WEST CHESTER — The Chester County Board of Commissioners and the Agricultural Development Council (Ag Council) announced the availability of the 2016 Chester County Local Farm Products guide. The guide includes:

• A list of over 100 farm producers.

• A map showing where to find farm-fresh products.

• Profiles of new agricultural businesses and opportunities for back-yard farming enthusiasts.

“The Local Farm Products Guide has become a favorite for residents and we are happy to have such a great resource to help connect consumers to local farm products,” Chester County Board of Commissioners Chair Terence Farrell said. “The guide also provides readers with an insight into what agriculture in the county is all about.”

This year’s guide celebrates 2015 Farmer of the Year Award co-winners Lewis Wilkinson of West Grove and the team at Seven Stars Farm in Kimberton. It also highlights the agricultural partners who support the publication.

Chester County’s Local Farm Products Guide will be available at a number of locations including the Government Services Center (601 Westtown Road, West Chester, Pa.), the Chester County administration building at 313 West Market Street in West Chester, Pa., as well as local libraries, municipal buildings and many other places throughout the community.

The guide is also available online at www.chesco.org/agdev/farmguide.
