Borough police link 16-year-old to burglary

 Youth was referred to juvenile authorities for Dec. 12 break-in

 The investigation into a burglary last month in the borough has led to an arrest, Kennett Square Police said Tuesday.

Police said a 16-year-old was referred to juvenile authorities on Dec. 27 for allegedly stealing cash from a residence in the 400 block of West State Street sometime between 4:20 and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 12.

State police are investigating a robbery Saturday at the Domino’s Pizza shop in the 600 block of Millers Hill Road in Kennett Township, police said Tuesday.

Police said a six-f00t-tall, black male aged 30 to 40 wearing a brown jacket and dark-colored ski cap stole the night deposit from an employee at 1:22 a.m. before fleeing on foot toward Ways Lane. Anyone with information should contact the Avondale barracks at 610-268-2022.
