KENNETT — The Kennett-Unionville Titans 80 lb. Varsity squad made history on Saturday winning the Titans first Bert Bell Memorial League Championship by beating the Springfield Cougars 32-13.

The Titans, led by Head Coach Denis Hulme, became the lowest seed (#9) to win the league championship in the over 50 year existence of the Bert Bell league, by upsetting the top 4 seeds – the Downingtown Young Whippets, the Drexel Hill Raiders, the Darby Township Eagles, and The Cougars – in the playoffs and bringing the Title home.
