Borough police investigating hit-and-run accident

Victim said tractor-trailer struck her vehicle, kept going 

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAKennett Square Police said they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6:26 p.m. at the intersection of Union and State Streets.  The victim stated that she was waiting to make a left turn onto West State Street from South Union Street when her vehicle was hit by a tractor/trailer that continued north on North Union Street, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 11:10 a.m., Kennett Square Police said they received a report that a business located in the 200 block of West State Street had found trash illegally dumped in its dumpster overnight.  An investigation is continuing.

A resident reported that on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 1:34 p.m., sometime between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, the passenger-side mirror was damaged on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Center Street, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.
