Image 1The public is invited to join a group of Kennett-area citizens committed to “Bridging the Community” on Wednesday, Jan. 8,  at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Kennett Square.

This community group, which has been meeting since 1998, promotes the philosophy of creating a peaceful, progressive and inclusive community.  Meetings offer an opportunity to share news and ideas about all the elements of the town to promote businesses and resources and to meet residents’ needs.  For more information, contact Joan Holliday at 610-717-2180 or  dochollisv@aol.com.

The American Legion Hall is located at the corner of State and Broad Streets; access the meeting by going to the basement door on the side of the building next to The Kennett Library.

Minutes of  “Bridging the Community” meetings are available at www.bridgingcommunity.com or at the Kennett Library.  Meeting sites rotate to provide exposure to all segments of the community.
