Borough police said woman had pot, paraphernalia – and suspended license
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 3:59 p.m., Kennett Square Police said they arrested Sharon Johnston, 36, of Kennett Square, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as driving with a suspended license. Johnston was detained following a traffic stop in the 700 block of West State Street, police said. She was released to constables after police said they determined she also had a bench warrant.
Kennett Square Police said on Thursday, Jan. 9, at noon, they received a report that “sometime last week,” a pair of headphones was stolen from a business located in the 100 block of Race Street. An investigation is continuing, police said.
On Saturday, Jan. 11, at 1:04 a.m., Kennett Square Police said they detained Jason Kieffer, 26, of Atglen. Kieffer was taken into custody on a bench warrant for a parole violation following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West State Street, police said. Kieffer was released to constables, police said.
