13th annual Kennett Amateur Theatrical’s Society’s panto ends today
The Kennett Amateur Theatrical Society is offering a limited opportunity to escape the tedium of yet another snowy day: “A Midsummer Night’s Tail.”
The group’s 13th annual pantomime, a whimsical British tradition also known as the panto, will conclude Saturday, Jan. 25, with performances at 2 and 7:30 at Kennett High School.
This engaging production features an all-star cast of community members, many of whom are probably your neighbors. Thrill to the escapades that include Wonkey the Donkey, the uppity van Drivers, the topsy Turvey clan, and Puck, the mischievous fairy calling the shots, in a plot that engagingly breaks convention with audience participation, magical spells, murderous plots, gender-bending, mirthful music, and more.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under).
