Don’t wonder what might have been, make it happen

And, never more so than when I read articles like this one about the regrets of dying people (http://www.viralnova.com/regret-when-older/). UGH. Heart strings.
I don’t want to regret ANYTHING. Right? Don’t you feel that way?
Their list of 37 points was pretty spot on (especially loved #’s 1, 6, 15, 17, 26 & 33!) but, I wanted to add a few more of my own:
• Never refuse a piece of birthday cake…just because it is nice to celebrate a person’s birth with something sweet and it will NOT ruin your diet. (Good grief)
• Stop wishing for more money. Money never equals happiness. Just look at studies of lottery winners.
• Appreciate your body for the amazing things that it does on a daily basis. Never take your health and well-being for granted. (This is cliché but so very true, isn’t it?)
• Not giving maximum effort. Isn’t it much easier to slack off and take the easy road? Don’t.
• Never being quiet by yourself. Appreciating that nothing bad will happen if you don’t check Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The world will still revolve.
• Being too busy to read a book. There should be no such thing.
• Realizing that doing your best may not be enough and that’s OK.
• Be a role model. Every time in every way.
• Be the first to say “I’m sorry”.
• Give kisses and hugs to each other (no matter the age).
• Never go to bed angry. I always loved this one because it gives you the promise of a fresh morning.
Which numbers in the list of 37 where your favorites? And, more importantly, do you have any to add to mine?

Happy Weekend!
