Proceeds from tabs on Tuesday night will help fund student event

IMG_1231Now that Kennett High’s After Prom has been rescued, organizers are working to make it special.

Toward that end, the public is encouraged to forsake cooking on Tuesday, March 18, and support an activity that helps keep the students and members of the community safe. Kennett High School’s After Prom hopes residents will support a dinner/dessert night out at Friendly’s Restaurant in Hockessin, De.,  from 5 to 9 p.m.

Organizers say that the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the proceeds during that time frame, including take-out,  to the After Prom. The money will be used to help defray the expenses of activities, prizes, etc.
