State police: Man found drunk in Dumpster

33-year-old Avondale resident reportedly cited for public intoxication

Image 2On Thursday, March 27, an Avondale man was found intoxicated in a Dumpster, said state police from the Avondale barracks. Police said Brian M. Feeney, 33, was found at 4:15 p.m. in a trash bin at the Hilton Garden Inn in the 800 block of East Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township. He was charged with public drunkenness, court records said.

A Delaware man was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Thursday, March 27, at 10:18 p.m., said state police from the Avondale barracks. Adam R. Zimmerman, 28, of Wilmington, was detained on northbound Rt. 7, north of Southwood Road, in New Garden Township, state police said.

Kennett Square Police said they cited Joseph Lownes, 26, of Kennett Square, for public drunkenness on Sunday, March 16, at 2:10 a.m. 3/16/14 in the 100 block of West State Street.  Lownes was released at his residence, borough police said.

On Sunday, March 16, at 10:23 p.m., Kennett Square officers cited a 17-year-old male from West Grove for underage drinking following a traffic stop at Rt. 82 and Leslie Lane, borough police said, adding that the teen was released to his parents.

Kennett Square Police said they detained Alfonso Gasca-Torres, 27, of Kennett Square, for a bench warrant on Monday, March 17, at 5:35 p.m. in the 100 block of West Mulberry Street.  Gasca-Torres was released to a constable for transport to Chester County Prison, police said.

Luis Carrillo-Avalos, 18, of Kennett Square, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Wednesday, March 19, at 8:48pm in the 500 block of South Union Street, Kennett Square Police said. Carrillo-Avalos was released pending a summons from district court, police said

Sometime overnight on Wednesday, March 19, a car stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of South Washington Street, borough police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.

Kennett Square Police said they cited Betty Brown, 51, of Kennett Square, for the borough ordinance that prohibits pets from running at large after her dog ran loose in the 500 block of Center Street on Friday, March 21, at noon, chasing people and other animals, police said.

Kennett Square Police said they cited Timothy Johnson, 20, of West Grove, for disorderly conduct and harassment for a fight that occurred in the 500 block of South Union Street on Saturday, March 22, at 1:33 p.m.

Pedro Avila-Lopez, 56, of Kennett Square, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop in the 500 block of West State Street on Saturday, March 22, at 7:44 p.m. Avila-Lopez was released pending a summons from district court, borough police said.
