1996 red Acura Integra reportedly stolen from 100 block of North Willow
The Kennett Square Police Department said it is investigating the theft of a vehicle. Sometime between 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, and 5:15 a.m. on Monday, March 31, someone stole a 1996 red Acura Integra, bearing Pennsylvania registration JDN5609, from the 100 block of North Willow Street, police said, adding that the investigation continues.
A 15-year-old male from Kennett Square was cited for retail theft after he was caught stealing Veet Ready-To-Use Wax Strips from a business located in the 100 block of South Mill Road on Monday, March 31, at 4:11 p.m., police said. The teen, who was not identified because of his age, was released to a parent, police said.
Kennett Square Police cited Cristian Padilla, 20, of Kennett Square, for violating the borough ordinance prohibiting pets from running at large after his dog chased a resident in the 700 block of Wayne Avenue on Tuesday, April 1, at 10:43 a.m., police said. Padilla was cited again for the same violation after his dog ran loose in the 700 block of Wayne Avenue on Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m., police said.
On Tuesday, April 1, a resident reported that sometime between 5:15 and 9:15 p.m. on Monday, March 31, their vehicle was egged while parked in the 100 block of North Union Street, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.
Kennett Square Police arrested a 16-year-old male from Kennett Square for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Wednesday, April 2, at 4:25 p.m. in the 100 block of North Walnut Street, police said. The teen was released to a relative and has been referred to juvenile authorities for the charges, police said.
Kennett Square Police cited a 13-year-old female from Kennett Square for disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred on Thursday, April 3, at 4:49 p.m. in the 100 block of South Mill Road, police said. The juvenile was released to a parent, police said.
