Days after the Kennett Township Board of Supervisors held a meeting to discuss the future of the Chandler Mill Bridge, officials want to make sure residents have information about the options.

The township’s engineer, Remington Vernick, made a presentation on five options presented to the board in the feasibility study, and the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County also made a presentation. In addition, numerous residents read statements with their position on the bridge and others who couldn’t be in attendance submitted formal statements.

About 150 residents attended the meeting; for those who couldn’t be present, links to the meeting videos can be accessed at  http://youtu.be/Ck3d0qdbQ7w (Part 1) and  http://youtu.be/xd4WqyFCIaE (Part 2). To view the presentations made at the meeting, click here to go to the page on the township’s web site:  http://www.kennett.pa.us/special-meetings.

Once the transcript is available from the court reporter, it will be posted on the web site along with the formal statements, said Township Manager Lisa M. Moore, who thanked residents for their interest.
