Bi-monthly meetings promote growth of peaceful, inclusive community

483738_10151466798824137_882821686_nThe public is invited to join a group of Kennett-area citizens committed to “Bridging the Community” on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at The Market at Liberty Place.

This community group, which has been meeting for more than 15 years, promotes the philosophy of creating a peaceful, progressive and inclusive community.  Meetings offer an opportunity to share news about all the elements of the town to promote businesses, resources, and needs.

During this special meeting, one of our active community members requests that everyone bring a family and/or ancestors photo to share as part of the “bridging” process. For more information, contact Joan Holliday at dochollisv@aol.com or 610-717-2180 or Dave Haradon at daveharadon@gmail.com.

Minutes of  “Bridging the Community” meetings are available at www.bridgingcommunity.com or at the Kennett Library.  Bi-monthly meeting sites rotate to provide exposure to all segments of the community. The Garage Youth Center is located at 115 S. Union St., Kennett Square, 19348
