The following is a digest of local police activity as reported by the Kennett Square Police Department.

Theft — Police received the report of a theft sometime between 7:50 AM and 6:45 PM on Wednesday, 9/14/11, regarding a GPS unit stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block Center Street.  The investigation continues.

Theft — Sometime between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM on Sunday 9/11/11, a camera, GPS unit and cash were reported stolen from a vehicle parked with the sun roof open in the 100 block Race Street.  Investigation continues.

Drug Possession — Kennett Square Police arrested Christopher James, 21 of Landenberg for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a DUI-Controlled Substance, and related offenses following a traffic stop in the 500 block South Broad Street on Monday 9/12/11 at 1:01 AM.  James was arraigned at Kennett District Court and was unable to post $10,000.00 cash bail and was remanded to Chester County Prison.

• Outstanding Warrants — Kennett Square Police detained Earl Fountain, 55 of Kennett Square, for outstanding bench warrants on Sunday, 9/11/11, at 7:45 PM at North Willow Street & East Maple Alley.  Fountain was also allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to a constable.

• Robbery — Kennett Square Police arrested a 15-year-old Male from Avondale for a supposed robbery, reported on Sunday 9/11/11 between 2:00 PM and 2:15 PM at East State & South Broad Streets.  The victim, a 15-year-old female, stated she was walking when she felt someone take money out of her pocket.  The male juvenile has been referred to Juvenile Probation authorities.

• Public Drunkenness — The Kennett Square Police Department cited Harry J. London, Jr. 51 of Toughkenamon for Public Drunkenness on Saturday, 9/10/11, at 5:40 PM on East Maple Alley & North Broad Street.  LONDON was released at his residence.

• Underage Drinking — Kennett Square PD cited Fabian Cortez-Zavala, 20 of Kennett Square for Underage Drinking on Friday, 9/9/11 at 9:59 PM in the 700 block Lafayette Street.  Cortez-Zavala was released at his residence.

• Curfew Violation — Kennett Square PD cited a 14-year-old Male from Kennett Square for curfew violation on Monday, 9/5/11 at 11:35 PM at Sycamore Alley & Juniper Street.  The juvenile was released to his parent.

•  Underage Drinking — Kennett Square Police cited Luis Lopez-Sanchez, 18 of Kennett Square and Juan Lopez-Villagomez, 18 of Toughkenamon for Underage Drinking on Saturday, 9/3/11 at 12:47 AM in the 700 block Lafayette Street.

• Public Urination — Kennett Square Police cited Alejandro Guzman-Vazquez, 25 of Toughkenamon for Public Drunkenness & Disorderly Conduct after he was observed urinating in public on Thursday, 9/1/11 at 11:37 PM in the 400 block East South Street.  Guzman-Vazquez was released at his residence.
