LINCOLN UNIVERSITY—Comedian, actor and philanthropist Dr. William  “Bill” Cosby, Jr. will be performing live in concert to benefit The Lincoln University’s first-ever $10 million The Students First Campaign for student scholarships on Saturday, July 19 at its International Cultural Center.

Over the past year, Cosby, who also serves as General Chair of The Students First Campaign, has encouraged financial support from corporations, foundations, churches and the general public, as well as The Lincoln University alumni, faculty and staff for the endowment campaign for merit and need-based scholarship support.

The event, which also features a performance by The Ray Gaskins Band, begins at 6:30 p.m., immediately following The Lincoln University Annual Alumni Picnic.  Tickets are $10.  However, additional contributions are encouraged, as all proceeds benefit The Students First Campaign.
