KENNETT SQUARE – The Kennett Education Foundation (KEF) is hosting its 7th annual ‘Monster Mash Dash’ 5k Run, walk and spooky sprint – Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Anson B. Nixon Park. This popular ‘rain or shine ‘event, presented by Cari Orthodontics, supports KEF’s mission of enriching the educational experience within the Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD).
KEF provides Education Grants to educators and students, and scholarships to graduating seniors. The Monster Mash Dash is set amidst the stunning fall foliage backdrop of Anson B. Nixon Park and features t-shirt design and costume contests, a school spirit award, and a ‘spirited’ morning of healthy fun.
Participants and volunteers encouraged to come in costume while supporting KEF’s important mission! REGISTER ONLINE HERE through October 21st. Race day registration will begin at 8:00 am, with the ‘Spooky Sprinters’ taking off at 9:00 am, followed by the ‘Monster Mash Dash’ at 9:30 am.
Complimentary t-shirts will be given to the first 400 participants, and the coveted Participation Award, sponsored by Sinton Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc., will be awarded to the school with the highest participation rate.
