Man charged in W. Nottingham sexual assault, stabbing

PoliceTapeWEST NOTTINGHAM — A Nottingham man faces charges that he sexually assaulted one woman and then repeatedly stabbed another after forcing his way into a township home, Sunday.

The State Police said that William Anthony Brown is alleged to have kicked down the front door of a Center Drive home, where he allegedly sexually assaulted one woman and then stabbed another in face, chest and stomach. The second victim, police said, remains in critical condition in an area hospital.

State Police responded to a 911 call at the location — and found Brown at the scene, where he was taken into custody. Police assisted local EMS personnel with the victims.

Brown faces charges of Attempted Homicide and related charges.
