The Kennett Square Police Department reports the following recent incident reports:
• Retail Theft — The Kennett Square Police Department cited Scott Hart, 43 of Kennett Square for Retail Theft on Sunday, 12/4/11 at 3:05 PM following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of South Mill Road. Hart was issued a citation and released.
• Underage Drinking — The Kennett Square Police Department cited Domenic Martino, 18 of New London, Brannen Figuero, 18 of Lincoln University, a 14-year-old female from Lincoln University, a 15-year-old female from Landenberg, a 16-year-old female from Lincoln University, a 16-year-old female from Cochranville, and a 17-year-old male from Landenberg for Underage Drinking following a traffic stop on Sunday 12/4/11 at 1:56 AM in the 700 block of West State Street. All were released to parents/relatives/friends.
• Retail Theft — Kennett Square Police arrested Thomas Manuel, 36 of Kennett Square and Amanda Smith, 32 of Toughkenamon for alleged Retail Theft on Saturday, 12/3/11 at 3:27 PM following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of South Mill Road. Manuel and Smith were video-arraigned by on-call District Court. Bail for each was set at $10,000.00. Unable to post bail, Manuel and Smith were remanded to Chester County Prison.
• Drug Possession — Kennett Square Police arrested Isidro Gaona-Renteria, 31 and Isidro Valencia, 23 both of Kennett Square for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia on Friday 12/2/11 at 11:56 PM in the 500 block of East South Street. Gaona-Renteria and Valencia were released pending summons from District Court.
• Forgery — Kennett Square Police are investigating a report of forgery that occurred on Friday 12/2/11 at 12:50 PM. The suspect tried to cash a forged check at a business located in the 200 block East Cypress Street. The investigation continues.
• Criminal Mischief — Kennett Square PD cited an 11-year-old Male from Kennett Square, PA, for Criminal Mischief on Thursday 12/1/11 at 10:06 PM in the 100 block of East State Street. The juvenile was released to a parent.
• DUI — Kennett Square Police arrested Abel Labra-Vegara, 20 of Hockessin, DE for DUI following a traffic stop on Wednesday 11/30/11 at 11:04 PM in the 100 block of Waterworks Drive. Labra-Vegara was released at this residence pending summons from District Court.
• Theft — Kennett Square Police arrested Timothy Johnson, 18 of Kennett Square for a theft that occurred on Monday, 11/28/11 at 3:13 PM at East South Street and Church Alley. Johnson was arraigned at Kennett District Court and released on $5000 unsecured bail.
• Bicycle Theft — The Kennett Square Police Department is investigating a report of theft that occurred sometime between 7:10 PM and 7:20 PM on Saturday 11/26/11. During that time, a bicycle was allegedly stolen from the 100 block South Union Street. At 2:45 AM on Sunday, 11/27/11, the bicycle was recovered in the 100 block West State Street. The investigation continues.
• Disorderly Conduct — Kennett Square PD cited a 17-year-old Male and a 16-year-old Male, both of Landenberg, PA, for Disorderly Conduct following an incident in the 600 block West State Street on Sat. 11/26/11 @ 11:54am. Juveniles were released to a parent.
• DUI — Kennett Square Police arrested Scott Hershbell, 43 of West Grove for DUI following an accident on Friday 11/25/11 at 1:55 PM in the 600 block of West Cypress Street. Hershbell was released to a parent pending summons from District Court.
• Underage Drinking — On Sunday, 11/20/11 at 4:30 PM, the Kennett Square PD cited Adrian Mendoza-Arizaga, 20 of Kennett Square for Underage Drinking in the 600 block of Ridge Avenue. Mendoza-Arizaga was released at his residence.
On Thursday 11/24/11 at 8:02 PM, Kennett Square Police again cited Mendoza-Arizaga for underage drinking in the 700 block of Lafayette Street. Mendoza-Arizaga was released to a friend.
• DUI — Kennett Square Police arrested Ramon Nava-Luna, 44 of Kennett Square for DUI following a traffic stop on Sunday, 11/20/11 at 3:04 AM. Nava-Luna was released at his residence pending summons from District Court.
A passenger in the vehicle, Victor DIAZ-LUNA, 19, Kennett Square, PA, was cited for underage drinking. DIAZ-LUNA was released at his residence.
• DUI — Kennett Square Police arrested Ashley Waltz, 23 of Kennett Square for DUI following an accident on Sunday 11/20/11 at 12:46 AM in the 100 block West State Street. Waltz was released to a friend pending summons from District Court.
