Great gift ideas for Fathers’ Day

I’m sorry, fellas. Last week I (selfishly) fixated on bathing suits for the ladies…even though your big day is next Sunday. I’m sure you must have been worried that I had forgotten about you. You probably felt neglected and mistreated. Never fear, I’m here to rectify things.

I must confess, I avoided writing about it because I find Father’s Day shopping difficult. Maybe I just have “hard to buy for” men in my life. My dad, husband, and father-in-law are all pretty low-maintenance. As hard as I have tried, I have convinced none of them to be (even remotely) interested in fashion. AND, they aren’t super helpful when it comes to suggesting ideas for gifts they would like to open. So, I took to the internet to uncover a few unique options.

  • Lands End No Wrinkle Khakis – Not haute couture…but, nevertheless, they are flat front (JUST SAY NO TO PLEATED PANTS) and classic AND will look nice right out of the dryer. Click here http://bit.ly/2sVdjVq
  • The World’s Greatest Collection of Dad Jokes – DON’T read the jokes in advance, guaranteed you’ll be hearing them again and again. Love this idea! I think he’ll get a kick out of this one. Click here http://amzn.to/2shVbbs
  • Airpods by Apple When you pull these wireless headphones out of the charging case, they instantly turn on and connect with your Apple devices. How cool is that? Make Dad a customized Spotify playlist of his favorite songs to go with it! Click here http://apple.co/2qvz0hD
  • Turf Coasters – Come on, these are cute! If your father is a sports fan, he’ll appreciate the craftsmanship. Add a few bottles of his favorite beverage and you’ll be number one in his heart. Click here:  http://bit.ly/1Sm87Rm

Other ideas that I found are gift cards to the local car wash, lessons from a golf or tennis pro, or tickets to a baseball game (Phillies tickets are just about free, aren’t they? Ouch).

Whatever you decide to do on June 18th, make it memorable! Dad deserves the best.

Happy Weekend
