KENNETT — Twelve-year-old Theron Schilling experienced a week on the diamond that few Little Leaguers ever could imagine.  Playing for the KAU Little League Major Division Knights 12U team, Schilling hit four home runs—including two grand slams—and knocked in 16 runs in games against Avon Grove, Westside, and Glen Mills. He batted 6-for-8 overall and was walked several times over the three games.

Schilling is a sixthgrader at Patton Middle School and the son of Traci and Ernie Schilling of Pennsbury.

Two members of the Fox’s Pizza team were named the Minor A Division Players of the Week. In four games and seven innings pitched, Richie Kline has allowed only four hits, walked one and has recorded 19 strikeouts. Shane Lyons has batted .800 with two doubles and nine stolen bases. Fox’s Pizza went 3-1 in that span.

Kline is a fifth grader at Unionville Elementary School and the son of Heather and Rich Kline of East Marlborough. Lyons, a fourth grader at Pocopson Elementary School, is the son of Lisa and Patrick Lyons of Pocopson.
