WEST CHESTER — Connect Thru Cancer (CTC) is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the ISA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on healthy nutrition and support for underserved children, wellness education for all, aid for those affected by natural disasters, and the pursuit of racial equality. The grant will be used to allow Connect Thru Cancer to host a Wellness Summit for individuals and families living with a cancer diagnosis.

Connect Thru Cancer’s Wellness Summit will allow clients to benefit from one-on-one, as well as group support of a health coach and an alternative medicine practitioner & master healer. Clients will learn about nutritious foods, how to shop for and prepare healthy recipes, and alternative approaches to self-care, healing and recovery through different techniques during cancer treatment and recovery, as well as survivorship.

“Our goal is to offer this program so that clients may reap the rewards of a healthy lifestyle, improved nutrition, self-care, and learn how to manage the anxiety that often arises from a cancer diagnosis,” said Colleen Bucci, Executive Director of Connect Thru Cancer. “This grant will greatly impact our clients who may not otherwise be able to access the support and services that we will offer through the Wellness Summit, and we are very excited about that!”

The ISA Foundation is operated by global wellbeing company Isagenix International, based in Gilbert, Arizona. Established in 2018, the foundation, which is guided by the principles inspire, share, and advocate, awards grants through a competitive application process.

“Nonprofits like Connect Thru Cancer are essential to creating a better world, so we’re honored to partner with this exceptional organization,” said Isagenix Chief Legal Officer and ISA Foundation Board Member Justin Powell. “Its compassionate work aligns well with our belief that everyone deserves to experience a healthy, joyful, and abundant life. We look forward to seeing the impact Connect Thru Cancer makes on the communities/community it serves.”
