Alice Elisabeth “Betty” Andersen (nee Patterson)

Alice Elisabeth “Betty” Andersen (nee Patterson), 95, of Woodstown passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at her daughter’s home in Upper Pittsgrove Township on Monday November 8, 2021.

She was a resident of Kennett Square and Unionville, PA until moving to southern NJ in 2016.  She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Martin Gregor Andersen, Capt., US Navy (ret.), who died in 2018.

Survivors include two daughters from her marriage to John G. Converse, who died in 1986; Nancy E. Cimprich (Robert J. Cimprich) and Donna M. Converse, two granddaughters, Dr. Holly Cimprich (husband David Beauchemin) and Amy Cimprich, RN (husband Andrew Giovinazzi) and four great granddaughters, Liliana Cimprich, Sadie Giovinazzi, Laurel Beauchemin and Ivy Beauchemin.  Mrs. Andersen is also survived by three sisters, Esther Dillman, Helen Rasmussen and Patricia Baily and several niece and nephews.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Marqui and Sally Patterson, one brother, James Patterson and her parents, Horace and Alice Chase Patterson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Deerfield Presbyterian Church, Old Deerfield Pike in Upper Deerfield Township on Friday afternoon November 12th at 1:30 where friends will be received from 1 until 1:30.

The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in Mrs. Andersen’s memory to the Deerfield Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 69, Deerfield Street, NJ  08313.
