One defendant faces charges for allegedly threatening to kill a co-worker

A dispute with a co-worker led to terroristic threat charges against Hassan Elmiamari, 43 of Mechanicsburg, New Garden Township police said. Police said Elmiamari became involved in an argument on June 2 with a co-worker in the 900 block of Penn Green Road.  Elmiamari then threatened to kill the co-worker and made a gun-type gesture with his hand, police said.

New Garden police charged Cesario Oxtocapan, 26, of Avondale, with drunken-driving and related offenses following a June 3 traffic stop.  Police said they observed a vehicle swerving off the road and across the center line in the area of West Cypress Street and Scarlett Road.  Oxtocapan admitted to police he had been drinking and showed several signs of being impaired, police said.

Another disturbance resulted in disorderly conduct charges against Michael Rogowski, 47, of Landenberg, New Garden police said. Police said they were called to the unit block of Wilkinson Drive on June 4 for a loud disturbance and found the incident to be domestic-related; a juvenile was also charged with disorderly conduct.

John Anderson, 23 of Landenberg, was arrested for an outstanding criminal warrant on June 6, New Garden police said.  Contact was made with Anderson in the 100 block of Mercer Mill Road during a follow-up to a reported theft, police said, adding that a search found Anderson in possession of heroin.  Police said Anderson was charged with heroin possession and turned over to state police for the warrant.

 Kennett Square police arrested a 15-year-old male from the borough on June 1. Police said he was  charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and loitering for allegedly throwing a fire extinguisher through the sliding glass door of a residence in the 300 block of Juniper Street on April 23 at 8:44 p.m. Police said he was referred to juvenile authorities.

An East Marlborough Township man faces assault charges for an altercation on Saturday at 2:09 p.m. in the 200 block of Marlborough Road, state police said. Michael J. Murrison, 21, allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old male, police said.
