The Unionville 12U squad will be taking on the area’s best this weekend at CPYA

Unionville 12U starts their quest for the state title on Friday night

SCHWENKSVILLE—The field is set for the 2012 Southeastern Pennsylvania State 12U tournament set to start on Friday night with the opening ceremonies featuring a slugfest hitting derby skills competition.

Central Perkiomen Youth Association (CPYA) will host the annual event at the Rotary Fields in Schwenksville as the best in southeastern Pa battle for the title.

 

In the American Pool, District Three champion Langhorne will square off against District Two runner up Harleysville, District Nine champion BYC, District Ten champion Warrington and host Central Perkiomen, with each team playing four games with hopes of qualifying for the final four to take place on Monday, with the championship game to be held Tuesday night, July 10th.

 

The National pool will consist of District Three runner up Pennsbury, District Two champion Towamencin, District Nine runner up Unionville, District One champion Llanerch Hills and District Ten runner up Tri-Township.

 

Opening ceremonies will get underway at 5:45 Friday July 6th, Cal Ripken baseball rules will be in force to find more information click on the official web site at

Saturday’s schedule- Unionville vs Towamencin 10:30 am CPYA Majors Field

Llanerch Hills vs Unionville 3:30 pm CPYA Majors Field

 

Sunday July 8th– Pennsbury vs Unionville 8 am –Rotary Field

Tri- Township vs Unionville 1pm –Rotary Field

 

The top two spots in each pool will cross over and play for a spot in the final on Monday at 6 pm.
