
Rithu George has been appointed the new Supervisor of Human Resources at Great Valley School District.
During their regular meeting on May 19, 2025, the Great Valley Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Rithu George as the district’s first-ever Supervisor of Human Resources.
George brings extensive experience in human resources management, talent acquisition, and employee relations to Great Valley. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director of Human Resources for the County of Lancaster, where she managed HR services including training and development, compliance, policy development, and employee relations.

Goffredo, Superintendent of Great Valley School District. “Her wealth of experience in public sector human resources and her proven track record in talent acquisition and development will be tremendously beneficial as we continue to strengthen our workforce and support our staff.”
In her role as Supervisor of Human Resources, George will be responsible for overseeing the district’s recruitment efforts, employee relations, HR policy application and compliance, and professional development programs.
George holds an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). Her previous experience includes roles with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Norristown Area School District, and various educational institutions.
“I am deeply passionate about the field of human resources and thrilled to step into this new role,” said George. “With a strong background in education and a longstanding connection to the Great Valley community over the past 13 years, I am particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the district’s mission while supporting staff along the way.”
George’s appointment comes as part of the district’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its administrative structure to better serve students, staff, and the community. She will begin her role on June 30, 2025.
