Phoenixville Area High School has replaced and added new synthetic turf to the auxiliary field on its campus, courtesy of Keystone Sports Construction, marking the second project in the school district’s ongoing investment in high-quality athletic facilities. The field, completed in April 2025, will provide space for student-athletes to train, compete, and stay active throughout the school year.
The project follows another previous 2023 renovation of the school’s main stadium track and field, also completed by Keystone. The new auxiliary field provides expanded access for sports practices, PE classes, and recreational use, easing pressure on the main field and increasing opportunities for students across all sports programs.
“Phoenixville has really been expanding, and anytime we can help improve the spaces where kids play and participate, it’s a win for the entire school community,” says Alex Wright, Director of Surfacing Operations at Keystone Sports Construction. “Upgrading this field really helps take pressure off the main facilities and ensures Phoenixville students have the room they need to grow and thrive.”
With both the main field and auxiliary field now upgraded, Phoenixville Area High School is well-positioned to support its growing athletic programs and student needs for years to come.
“It means a lot that Phoenixville didn’t just trust us with one major project, but came back to us for a second,” Wright says. “Being chosen again speaks volumes, and we can’t wait to see what this revitalized field brings.”
