Best start since program restarted in 2006; Lardani, Jones lead offense

ELVERSON — It might now have been the prettiest game ever, but Kennett used a high-powered offense to overcome a turnover-plagued game to shut out Twin Valley, 20-0 — giving the Blue Demons their first 3-0 start since restarting the school’s football program.

Senior running back Jordan Lardani scored a pair of touchdowns, while quarterback Jordan Jones rushed for 124 yards and passed for another 140 yards, en route to the victory.

While the Kennett offense was powerful at times, it was bogged down by turnovers and penalties, the Blue Demon defense was stellar, forcing four turnovers on fumbles and limiting Twin Valley to just t220 yards of total offense.

Off to its best start since restarting, Kennett hosts he Haverford School, winless heading into Saturday’s contest against the Lawrenceville (NJ) School.
