Police: Both defendants are Kennett Square residents
Two Kennett Square residents were arrested for drunken-driving in separate incidents recently, Kennett Square Borough Police reported Monday.
Leonel Castaneda-Montero, 26, was arrested Jan. 3 at 9:19 p.m. following a traffic accident at South Union and Cedar Streets, and C.B. Fields, 56, was cited on Dec. 31 at 7:35 p.m after a traffic accident in the 900 block of South Walnut Street, police said.
Police said sometime overnight on Jan. 3, a red 1998 Acura Integra bearing Pa. registration HTY9600 was stolen from the 500 block of Center Street. Police said the vehicle was recovered two days later in New Castle, De., where it had been stripped; an investigation is continuing.
Criminal-trespass citations were issued for two incidents, police said. One occurred in the 100 block of North Walnut Street at 1:56 p.m when citations were issued to Daniel Basso, 22, David Booth, 22, Tyler Deford, 21, Matthew Donatelli, 22, and Jason Johns, 22, all of Wilmington. The second case occurred Jan. 5 at 4:49 p.m. in the 100 block of North Walnut Street, resulting in citations for Robert Pietschmann, 22, of West Grove, and Christopher Ramsey, 22, of Kennett Square, police said.
A traffic stop in the 700 block of West State Street on Dec. 31 at 4:57 p.m. led to false ID to law-enforcement charges for Victor Montero-Lopez, 20, of Avondale, borough police said.
State police from the Avondale barracks responded to a one-vehicle crash on Kaolin Road in Kennett Township on Sunday at 6:07 p.m. Police said Kendra J. Milliken, 18, of Thornton, was cited after she failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of her 2008 Ford, left the roadway, and struck a tree. She was not injured, police said.
