EAST MARLBOROUGH — WSFS Bank formally opened its new Longwood branch on US-1, replacing an older branch near the Giant Supermarket and should mean more hours and better service for local customers, bank officials say.
The new branch, directly across US-1 from the Wawa, will continue WSFS’s 181-year history of serving the banking needs of the people of the Delaware Valley
As was the case, with previous versions of the branch, at the new branch WSFS Associates, trained as cross-functional Personal Bankers to serve all customers whatever their financial need. Company officials said this week that they can provide even greater service in the expanded office space. This location now includes safe deposit boxes, coffee bar, community conference room, and a drive-up teller and state-of-the-art, imaging ATM.
“We’ve been serving Longwood and Kennett Square, Pennsylvania for over twelve years now, first in a grocery store and then in a shopping center,” said Rick Wright, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer. “This new, stand-alone office space will not only provide more visibility for WSFS but also help us grow and deepen our relationships in the community.”
WSFS has six other offices in Southeastern Pennsylvania including retail branches in Glen Mills, West Chester, Media, Edgmont and Oxford, and a loan production office in Plymouth Meeting. Of the 440 WSFS ATMs, more than 45 are located in Pennsylvania providing greater convenience and access for WSFS Customers.
