The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County will present a workshop on bats on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bucktoe Creek Preserve.

The program will explore the threats to bat species in Pennsylvania, and participants will help install a new bat box at the preserve to promote healthy, disease-free habitats for these imperiled creatures.

The cost is $10 for conservancy members, $15 for non-members. For more information on the conservancy, visit www.tlcforscc.org or call 610-347-0347.
