Free vaccines will be available to needy in Kennett Square

The Chester County Health Department will provide free vaccines to uninsured and underinsured residents on selected dates.

The Chester County Health Department will provide free vaccines to uninsured and underinsured Kennett Square residents one day a month through September.

Free vaccines will be available in Kennett Square to uninsured or underinsured adults through the Chester County Health Department on select dates.

The vaccines for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Tdap, pneumococcal, HPV, shingles, MMR, and varicella will be offered at the La Comunidad Hispana Health Center from 3 to 7 p.m. on April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug. 8 and Sept. 12, said a news release from La Comunidad Hispana.

No appointment is needed, the release said. The health center is located at 731 W. Cypress St., Kennett Square.For more information, call the county’s Health Department at 610 344-6252.
