Kennett High football boosters holding fund-raiser
The Point After Club, Kennett High School’s football booster club, is holding its second fund-raiser of the year on Thursday at Jake’s Way Back Burgers in Kennett Square.
If the heat wave makes you want to get out of the kitchen, the Point After Club invites fans to let Jake’s, located on U.S. 1 near the Hilton Garden Inn, fix dinner.
In addition to staying cool, patrons will be supporting the football program at the same time. The booster club gets a percentage of the eatery’s receipts from 4 to 8 p.m., organizers said.
