IMG_0490The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) wants motorists to be aware of  roadwork in the area that may cause traffic delays.

On Monday and Tuesday, crews from Peco Energy will be working on utility installation on Baltimore Pike between Reese Street and Penn Green Road in New Garden Township. The work, which will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will result in lane restrictions.

Lenape Road in East Marlborough and Pennsbury Townships will be the site of intermittent lane closures for raised pavement marker installation. The work between Rt. 926 and U.S. 1 will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday and will involve lane closures.

Work continues through Sept. 6 on the bridge reconstruction project on Brandywine Creek Road in Newlin Township. A 24-hour  detour between Strasburg and Laurel Forge Roads remains in effect.
