Group aims to foster community in Kennett area

“Bridging the Community” will meet Sept. 11 at the Kennett Square Police Station.

The public is invited to join a group of Kennett-area citizens committed to “Bridging the Community” on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Kennett Square Police Station.

This community group, which has been meeting since 1998, promotes the philosophy of creating a peaceful, progressive and inclusive community.  Meetings offer an opportunity to share  news about all the elements of the town to promote businesses, resources, and needs.  For more information, contact Joan Holliday at 610-717-2180.

Minutes of  “Bridging the Community” meetings are available at www.bridgingcommunity.com or at the Kennett Library.  Meeting sites rotate to provide exposure to all segments of the community. The police station is located at the corner of North Broad and East Linden Streets in Kennett Square, 19348.
