He was taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post $20,000 bail
A 24-year-old Kennett Square man is in custody on charges that he molested a 9-year-old girl on Sept. 14 in Kennett Township, said state police from the Avondale barracks.
Norberto M. Gonzalez, who was arraigned Tuesday, faces charges that include indecent assault and corruption of a minor, state police said. Gonzalez was taken to Chester County Prison after he failed to post the $20,000 cash bail imposed by Magisterial District Judge John R. Bailey.
A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Daniel J. Maisano is scheduled for Tuesday, according to court records.
