Two borough residents cited for underage drinking

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAKennett Square Police cited Eduardo Cintora-Lopez, 20, and Hernan Camacho-Lopez, 19, both of Kennett Square, for underage drinking on Sept. 15 at 12:13 p.m. in the 500 block of Center Street, police said.

Eugene Boddy, 37, of Kennett Square, was cited for disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred at a business located in the 200 block of East State Street on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m., police said.

Police said they are investigating an incident involving the shooting of paintballs at a building in the 500 block of West Cypress Street on Sept. 14 at 12 p.m.

On Sept. 16, police received a report that a skateboard was stolen from a playground located in the 400 block of Center Street on Sept. 2; an investigation is continuing, police said.

Michael Mayo, 53, of Kennett Square, was detained on Sept. 18 at 7:40 a.m. in the 100 block of Waterworks Drive for a warrant, police said. Mayo was transported to Chester County Prison, police said.

Kennett Square Police said they cited Fernando Felix, 55, of Wilmington, De., for soliciting in the borough without a permit on Sept. 18 at 1:33 p.m. in the 500 block of Magnolia Street.  The business, Hogar Crea International of Wilmington, De.,  was also cited, police said.

Michelle Sanchez, 21, and a 16-year-old female, who was not identified by police because of her age, both of Kennett Square, were cited for retail theft on Sept. 18 at 6:49 p.m. in the 100 block of South Mill Road, police said.

Police said they are investigating the theft of a weed whacker, which was stolen sometime between Sept. 19 and 21 from a garage located in the 500 block of Center Street.

On Sept. 19 8:44 a.m. at West South and Lafayette Streets, Kennett Square Police said they detained Jose Tapia, 46, of Kennett Square, for an outstanding warrant.  Tapia was released to a constable, police said.
