Kennett Square Police made arrest after traffic stop
A traffic stop led to drunken-driving charges recently for a Toughkenamon man, Kennett Square Police said. Gustavo Castaneda-Mendoza, 20, was detained on Oct. 3 at 8:52 p.m. in the 600 block of West South Street and showed signs of intoxication, police said. Castaneda-Mendoza was released to a relative pending a summons from district court, police said.
Kennett Square Police are investigating the report of a cash theft sometime between Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 1 at 9 a.m., police said. The money was taken from a business located in the 100 block of West State Street, police said.
Joyce Biliski, 60, of West Grove, was arrested for retail theft on Oct. 4 at 12:51 p.m, in the 100 block of South Mill Road, police said.
