22-year-old Lincoln University resident cited for public drunkenness

Image 2On Sunday, Nov. 17, at 5:13 a.m., Kennett Square Police cited Mario Hall, 22, of Lincoln University, for public drunkenness after he entered an unlocked residence in the 300 block of South Union Street and fell asleep on the couch, police said.

Kennett Square Police cited Ofelia Garcia-Quintana, 67, of Kennett Square on Monday, Nov. 18, at 4:20 p.m. for violating the borough’s leash law. Police said that Garcia-Quintana’s loose dog ran after and bared its teeth at the victim.

On Monday, Nov. 18, at 2:54 p.m., Kennett Square Police cited Maelby Fajardo, 44, of Kennett Square, for Borough Ordinance 3-4(a) Prohibiting Pets to Run at Large after it was reported that her loose dog ran after and bared its teeth at the victim, police said.

Sometime overnight Monday, Nov. 18, someone stole a 55-gallon drum of used vegetable oil from a business located in the 200 block of Magnolia Street, police said, adding that an investigation is continuing.

Kennett Square Police arrested a 14-year-old male from Kennett Square for possession of drug paraphernalia, which was found in his backpack on Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Lafayette Street.  The teen was referred to Juvenile Probation, police said.

On Friday, Nov. 22 at 10:10 p.m., police received the report of an erratic driver, which led to a traffic stop in the 700 block of West State Street, police said. Javier Aguilar-Ordonez, 37, of Avondale, was arrested for driving under the influence and released pending a summons from district court, police said.

Troopers from the Embreeville barracks said on Oct. 14, a resident of the 2000 block of West Strasburg Road in Newlin Township reported that her credit-card information was used to make several fraudulent purchases at an online ski shop. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 484-340-3241.

Troopers from the Embreeville barracks initiated a traffic stop on a 1995 silver Mustang at Rt. 162 and Ryan Boulevard on Nov. 18 at 12:35 a.m. in West Bradford Township, state police said. After making contact with the driver, Archie Freeman Mundy Jr., 54, of Avondale, troopers found him in possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said. Charges were filed in district court, police said.
