Department will relocate to another modular facility at same address
Relocation from this modular building to a new one at the same address will not interrupt patrol operations but will affect some administrative operations.
To escape from mold-infested digs, the New Garden Township Police Department is scheduled to move into a new temporary modular facility on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The new building is located at the same physical address: 8934 Gap Newport Pike, Landenberg, 19350.
In a news release, police said the move will not affect patrol operations or the ability to respond to emergency and non-emergency incidents. In these events, the public is reminded to call the Chester County Department of Emergency Services at 610-268-3171 for non-emergency issues and 9-1-1 for emergencies.
However, the release said the business office and administration services will be closed through the morning of Friday, Dec. 13. The police department will be without internal phone, fax, email, and web access during this transition. Additionally, there will be no access to automated records, the release said.
