Faundez-Apablaza<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On Friday, March 14, at 10:45 a.m., the New Garden Police Department received a call from the victim of a theft, advising that Juan A. Faundez-Apablaza, 41, of Philadelphia, had paid their business in the 1000 block of Newark Road for services rendered on Jan. 14 involving an overturned tractor-trailer, police said.\u00a0 Faundez-Apablaza allegedly provided a cashier\u2019s check to the business as payment and then notified the bank that the check had been lost, prompting the bank to cancel the check and depriving the business of a \u201clarge sum of money,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n<p>An arrest warrant was issued for Faundez-Apablaza, and he was taken into custody without incident, arraigned, and released on $1,000 cash bail, police said. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 25, court records said.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11383\" style=\"width: 125px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Screen-Shot-2014-03-21-at-12.02.50-PM.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11383\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11383 \" style=\"border: 2px solid black; margin: 4px;\" alt=\"Tyler Snyder\" src=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Screen-Shot-2014-03-21-at-12.02.50-PM.jpg\" width=\"115\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11383\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tyler Snyder<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On Saturday, March 15, at 4:23 p.m., New Garden officers responded to the 300 block of Scarlett Road for the report of a retail theft in progress, police said.\u00a0 The actor was described as a white male in his 20s with a camouflage hat and a green and black shirt, who was observed concealing an item in his jacket and in the process causing damage, police said.\u00a0 The suspect then discarded the item in another aisle, and he left the store, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Upon returning to the store, the man was identified as Tyler Snyder, 23, of Landenberg, and taken into custody, police said.\u00a0 Snyder admitted to taking the package valued at $33.99, and during a search incident to arrest, Snyder was found to be in possession of contraband, police said, adding that preliminary tests identified the material as heroin.
