Sandra Murphy<\/p><\/div>\n

WEST CHESTER\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>The Chester County Commissioners have promoted the deputy of the Chester County Department of Aging Services to director.<\/p>\n

Sandra Murphy, who has served as second in command for the past six years, will replace retiring director Wanda Stonebraker, who had the post since 2007, a county news release said.<\/p>\n

Murphy, a graduate of Widener University with a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology, also has a certificate of completion from Penn State University in Drug and Alcohol Counseling and has completed all education requirements for certification in Federal Contract Management, the release said.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Chester County Department of Aging Services, Murphy was employed for seven years by a nonprofit agency that provides home and community based services to people with physical disabilities. She also worked with children diagnosed with mental health and intellectual disabilities for many years, according to the release.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
