Topiary swans grace our Exhibition Hall, while whimsical trees depict the classic tales\u00a0<i>The Ugly Duckling<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg<\/i>. Outside, all eyes are on the sky as illuminated stars twinkle above, colorful fountains dancing to\u00a0holiday music rise high in the air, and a half-million lights brighten the night.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Inside Longwood\u2019s 4-acre heated\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/longwoodgardens.pr-optout.com\/Tracking.aspx?Data=HHL%3d8%2f359%26JDG%3c%3a7%3e%2f67%3d%26SDG%3c90%3a.&amp;RE=MC&amp;RI=4219317&amp;Preview=False&amp;DistributionActionID=2891&amp;Action=Follow+Link\">Conservatory\u00a0<\/a>16,000 seasonal plants, including poinsettias accented with amaryllis, lilies, begonias, cyclamens, and\u00a0hydrangeas flourish. Elegantly decorated trees sparkle with festive, bird-inspired ornaments. Throughout the Conservatory guests will encounter a host of decorated trees, some reaching as high as 22-feet. The Music Room d\u00e9cor\u00a0is inspired by a Peacock Masquerade Ball, with elegant table settings, elaborate paper art, and an 18-foot rotating peacock-themed tree.<\/p>\n<p>Artisan touches throughout the Conservatory add to the elegance of the holiday\u00a0season. Wood turned birdhouse ornaments and hand blown glass hummingbirds adorn the Rose House, while glittering glass bird baths line the Fern Passage.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrate the sounds of the seasons during\u00a0<i>A Longwood Christmas<\/i>, featuring free and ticketed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/longwoodgardens.pr-optout.com\/Tracking.aspx?Data=HHL%3d8%2f359%26JDG%3c%3a7%3e%2f67%3d%26SDG%3c90%3a.&amp;RE=MC&amp;RI=4219317&amp;Preview=False&amp;DistributionActionID=2890&amp;Action=Follow+Link\">holiday-inspired performances<\/a>. Sing along to the sounds of the season during daily live performances played on Longwood\u2019s\u00a0grand 10,010-pipe organ. Additional free holiday performances from choirs and performers add to the festive holiday feel.<\/p>\n<p>Longwood works its holiday magic outdoors, too. More than 500,000 outdoor lights adorning 124 trees in classical and free-style forms enchant both young and old.
