We hear Brad\u2019s spirit is infectious; and that he has quickly become a\u00a0local\u00a0phenom&#8230;.giving <strong>Brad<\/strong> and the happy <strong>Oxford High Hornets<\/strong> a BIG\u00a0<em>Times<\/em> &#8220;shout-out&#8221;&#8230;..we&#8217;ll be waiting for the\u00a0<em>&#8220;Hollahh-BACK&#8230;!&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Gifts from the HEART<\/em>&#8230;.<strong>Kings Highway Elementary<\/strong> (Coatesville Area School District) School Nurse, <strong>Rhonda Juhas<\/strong>, donated her time and personal funds to make sure that every student left for the holiday break knowing that they were cared for and valued. Nurse Rhonda hand-made more than <strong>500 pillows for EVERY student<\/strong> to stay cozy with over the winter break. While each pillow was a little differerent, they each carried the same message: \u201cStudents, I want you each to take one of these home with you and to know that the adults in this school care about each of you very much.\u201d \u00a0Wow. <em>Way to GO Nurse Rhonda!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When the moon hits the sky, like a big pizza pie &#8211;that&#8217;s <strong>BUSINESS AMOR\u00c9!.<\/strong>&#8230;.<\/em> <strong>Lenape Pizza<\/strong> \u2013 West Chester, gets our nod for helping <strong>Bailey\u2019s Farm<\/strong> sell their fresh dairy products out of Lenape&#8217;s take-out location. Bailey\u2019s business dropped significantly as a result of the Route 52 round-about construction project, making access to the farm difficult &amp; area roadway traffic decreased. This year is Stetser&#8217;s fourth, and he will be receiving a special award from the Archdiocese recognizing this achievement. The All-Catholic Chorus Festival Concert will be held at Roman Catholic on Sunday, February 1, 2015.<\/p>\n<p><em>Flash those pearly whites!<\/em> &#8230;..<strong>Dr. Stephanie McGann<\/strong>, local dentist &amp; Chester County resident was honored twice in 2014 by both the <strong>International College of Dentists &amp; the Pierre Fauchard Academy<\/strong>. She received fellowship in both organizations as a result of her commitment to community, professional volunteerism &amp; leadership. Congratulations Stephanie!<\/p>\n<p><em>Technically Speaking<\/em>&#8230;..J<strong>oseph &#8216;Jake&#8217; Nardozzi<\/strong>, a senior at <strong>Kennett High<\/strong> School, has received the <strong>LYNX Leadership Award from the Technical College High School<\/strong> &#8211; Pennock\u2019s Bridge Campus.\u00a0 The lynx is the school mascot &amp; the award is a school honor. Jake is in the HVAC program at TCHS and was recognized for consistently volunteering to help with events and programs at TCHS, including the summer Getting Connected program, and for being a positive asset to the student body. Congratulations Jake!<\/p>\n<p><em>Girl\u00a0Power<\/em>&#8230;..<strong>Unionville High<\/strong> athletes\u00a0<strong>Sydney Salle<\/strong> named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association&#8217;s All State team for 2014,\u00a0<strong>Izzy McDonough<\/strong> and <strong>Erin Matson\u00a0<\/strong>Field Hockey All-State 1st Team, for the <em>second consecutive year<\/em> both <strong>Olivia Young<\/strong> and <strong>Kacie Breeding<\/strong> were named as part of the All-State Cross Country Team.<\/p>\n<p><em>Center Court<\/em>&#8230;..Congrats to <strong>Great Valley H.S. &amp; Kennett H.S.<\/strong>\u00a0girls basketball teams for competing at the <strong>Wells Fargo Center Sixer\u2019s Pre-game<\/strong> for the Ches-Mont League American Division girls\u2019 basketball title.
