KENNETT SQUARE \u2013 Snap Fitness, the leading chain of 24\/7 state-of-the-art health clubs, celebrated its 1-year anniversary, offering residents what it calls a \u201cfast, convenient and affordable\u201d alternative to traditional big-box fitness centers.<\/p>\n

The club, operates round-the-clock, is conveniently located in The Schoolhouse Crossing Shopping Center at 162 Onix Drive in Kennett Square.\u00a0 Each member is provided a personalized keycard, making access easy to any of Snap\u2019s nearly 1,200 clubs in the United States, Canada and India. Inside, the club is stocked with cardio and strength-training equipment identical to that found in big-box clubs, as well as free weights.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur difference is that we\u2019re small and nearby, so you can get in and get out fast, and still get a quality workout,\u201d said Margie Worrall, the owner. \u201cMy goal is to be the best value in town, saving you money and time while still helping you achieve the results you want!\u201d\u00a0 Snap\u2019s popularity is also due in part to member-friendly policies. These include the option to belong month-to-month without signing a long-term contract, and the ability to freeze the membership for up to three months during times when you\u2019re not planning to use it.<\/p>\n

Margie also owns the Snap Fitness in The London Grove Village Shopping Center in Avondale, PA across from Perkins.\u00a0 She opened that facility in March 2010 and is scheduled to open her 3rd<\/sup> facility in Oxford, PA in February 2012.\u00a0 \u201cSnap Fitness has been an incredible business venture for our family.\u00a0\u00a0 It is definitely a family business where everyone in the household pitches in and helps out.\u00a0 You will often see Margie\u2019s husband, Todd and her son\u2019s Matthew and Connor, cleaning, vacuuming and\/or working the office.<\/p>\n
