Borough police release crime statistics during Tuesday night\u2019s Borough Council meeting<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>KENNETT SQUARE\u2014Police Chief Edward Zunino announced the borough\u2019s crime and police call statistics for the months of November and December of 2011 before the Mayor, the council, and citizens during Tuesday night\u2019s Borough Council meeting.<\/p>\n

Among the borough\u2019s most prevalent offenses are DUIs. This is an issue Chief Zunino has vowed to correct.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers are scheduled for four hours of training in January and February of 2012 on DUI checkpoint and DUI roving patrol details,\u201d he said. \u201cThe training is provided through the Chester County Impaired Driving program. It is necessary for our officers to receive this training for the latest in DUI enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

A full list of the crime statistics is shown below. Part I offenses indicate more serious crimes whereas Part II offenses denote less serious crimes.
