All tax preparers are volunteers who received extensive training and have successfully passed an IRS certification test.<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Although originally developed to assist low to moderate income seniors, the program welcomes all age and income levels.<\/p>\n<p>Federal and state returns are prepared and electronically filed at no charge; however, taxpayers with \u201ccomplex\u201d returns will be advised to seek professional tax assistance.<\/p>\n<p>The Kennett Area Senior Center is the local AARP Tax-Aide site. Tax-Aide volunteers are available by appointment, most Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am-2:30pm, February 3 through April 15 by calling 610-444-4819.<\/p>\n<p>Other centers are located in Oxford, Downingtown, Coatesville and West Chester.
