Leach is missing the point"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Kathi Cozzone<\/strong>, <em>Chester County Commissioner<\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6071\" style=\"width: 298px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Cozzone.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6071\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6071\" src=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Cozzone-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"288\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6071\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kathi Cozzone<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Once again, courageous women have come forward to describe their painful experiences at the hand of a man in power and once again they are re-victimized by his response.\u00a0 After an extensively investigated article in the Philadelphia Inquirer shares the stories of the women who were victims of unwanted advances, State Senator Daylin Leach has chosen to finger point everywhere but at himself.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Leach has missed the point entirely.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than take any responsibility whatsoever, in his official response Senator Leach blames his political rivals and his convenient forgetfulness.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>IT DOESN\u2019T MATTER if Senator Leach is a \u201c\u2026humorous guy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>IT DOESN\u2019T MATTER if Senator Leach doesn\u2019t \u201c\u2026remember one at all, and only one vaguely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By choosing to ignore the numerous accounts of harassment, Senator Leach has by all measures called these women liars.<\/p>\n<p>Eight women and three men confirm the behavior.\u00a0 Ms. Montgomery, at great professional risk, agreed to be named.\u00a0 Senate staffers confirmed being informed of inappropriate behavior and said Senator Leach was warned by a party leader to \u201cwatch his behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I once had a great deal of respect and admiration for Senator Leach, but no more.\u00a0 Senator Leach, it\u2019s time for you to step down from the State Senate and end your campaign for Congress.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t understand why, then you don\u2019t understand harassment.<\/p>\n<p><em>Kathi Cozzone is a long-serving Chester County Commissioner and a current Democratic candidate for Lt.
