All you music fans out there who are dreaming about heading to the Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park or Lincoln Financial Field over the next few months to attend concerts by major country, Top 40 or rap acts \u2013 forget about it.<\/p>\n

If the COVID-19 pandemic is threatening to wipe out the Eagles\u2019 season, then shows such as Kenny Chesney\u2019s concert on his Chillaxification 2020 Tour set for June at the Linc don\u2019t stand a chance.<\/p>\n

That concert will be rescheduled but no date has been set. Nonetheless, Chesney\u2019s fans \u2013 No Shoes Nation \u2013 stayed optimistic and supportive.<\/p>\n

A message on Chesney\u2019s website said:<\/p>\n

\u201cLeave it to No Shoes Nation, the millions-strong country without borders who have built a life-affirming, free-floating community over the last decade. Understanding that the first half of Kenny\u2019s tour needed to be postponed due to the ongoing home quarantining in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, they weren\u2019t going to let the original kick-off of the Chillaxification 2020 Tour, presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and fueled by Marathon, pass unnoticed.<\/p>\n

With No Shoes Radio throwing an audible tailgate to mark the occasion, fans in Dallas \u2013 and around the country \u2013 used April 18 as a way to mark the euphoria that is traditionally the beginning of the summer-long largely stadium tours that have become a rallying point for \u201cfans of the man from Tennessee.\u201d In classic NSN fashion, it wasn\u2019t long before Twitter, Instagram and Facebook were filled with pictures, comments and a few videos creating a cyber-tailgate.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it all started with a hashtag #VirtualTailgateParty.<\/p>\n

Justin Bieber\u2019s concert at the Linc, which was scheduled for August 1, has been postponed with no new date announced.<\/p>\n

Biebs\u2019 website offered this message:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour. While Justin \u2014 along with his band, dancers and crew \u2014 has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost. Justin is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone. He asks that fans hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored as soon as the dates are rescheduled. Information on rescheduled dates will be forthcoming soon\u201d<\/p>\n

Rammstein<\/p><\/div>\n

Rammstein\u2019s concert is scheduled for August 23 and no decision has been made yet about show or no show.<\/p>\n

On April 17, the German band known for its intense music and incomparable pyrotechnics fueled shows, posted the following message:<\/p>\n

\u201cRecently, several international governments have extended their bans on large-scale events. Also affected, unfortunately, are some of the dates for the 2020 Rammstein Tour.<\/p>\n

We are working on a solution for this difficult situation together with our partners in all the affected countries, and we hope for the understanding of those who have purchased tickets for the coming shows.<\/p>\n

As soon as we have precise and definitive information, we will communicate this immediately.<\/p>\n

Until then we ask for your understanding and patience, and we would also please request that you refrain for the time being from addressing further questions to the local event organizers, the band management, or the ticket systems. An update will follow as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guns N’ Roses<\/p><\/div>\n

Most of the shows at Citizens Bank Park have had their dates altered including concerts featuring Green Day, Guns N’ Roses and the quadruple-bill of M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.<\/p>\n

Wells Fargo Center has cancelled shows by a variety of acts including Harry Styles, Roger Waters, Niall Horan, Janet Jackson and Camila Cabello.<\/p>\n

Shows have been wiped out at venues ranging from the huge (The Linc, Citizens Bank Park) to the very small and intimate (The Living Room at 35 East, The Barbary, Burlap & Bean).<\/p>\n

Tours to celebrate the release of musicians\u2019 new albums have been scrapped and scheduled album release dates have been altered.<\/p>\n

The long-awaited tour by The Residents in support of their new album, \u201cMETAL, MEAT AND BONE,\u201d has been shoved into the future. But the album, which is their 49th studio album, will come out as scheduled this month.<\/p>\n

The Rez\u2019s website said:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cWE ARE INDEED BACK!!! Well practically… sort of… The Residents’ Dog Stab tour has been rescheduled for the spring of 2021 and all of us who aren’t dead by then will be HUMPIN’ and BUMPIN’!!! WE’RE COMIN’ TO YOUR TOWN, WE’RE GONNA PARTY IT DOWN!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

On April 23, you can welcome Alicia Keys into your house via CNN.<\/p>\n

Keys, a 15-time Grammy winner and global music icon, is partnering with\u00a0CNN\u00a0for the world premiere of a visual for her new track\u00a0\u201cGood Job,\u201d\u00a0on April 23 \u00a0as part of\u00a0CNN\u2019s global town hall addressing the latest questions and concerns in the fight against COVID-19. CNN will also include the song as part of a new CNN Heroes campaign to be announced this week.<\/p>\n

The track will be released via RCA records and available on all digital platforms on Thursday, April 23. Keys wrote \u201cGood Job\u201d\u00a0last year\u00a0with husband super producer\u00a0Swizz Beatz, The Dream, and\u00a0Avery Chambliss, and it will be featured on her forthcoming seventh studio album\u00a0\u201cALICIA.\u201d<\/p>\n

The song was originally written to recognize and celebrate unsung heroes in Keys\u2019 life, like her mom who she watched struggle as a single woman in New York\u2019s Hell\u2019s Kitchen, and many others who she saw were often overlooked. In the wake of the current global pandemic, she realized her message coincidentally fit the moment.<\/p>\n

According to Keys, \u201cWhether you\u2019re on the frontlines at the hospitals, balancing work, family and homeschool teaching, delivering mail, packages, or food, or facing other personal difficulties because of COVID-19, I feel you. You are seen, loved and deeply appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n

The song will also be used as the theme for a new CNN Heroes campaign celebrating the ordinary people who have emerged as heroes during the COVID-19 crisis. Starting Friday, viewers and users will be invited to share pictures and videos of individuals from their communities who are doing a good job to make the world a better, safer and healthier place. CNN will recognize a collection of these everyday heroes across its TV, digital and social channels each week.<\/p>\n
