Meet Zeeke and Moose, Chesco&#8217;s newest K-9 officers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Chester-County-K-9-Zeeke-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-12586\" src=\"https:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Chester-County-K-9-Zeeke-1-196x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"196\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>WEST CHESTER \u2014 The two young K-9s in training to become four-legged deputies in the Chester County Sheriff\u2019s Office now have their names \u2013 selected from more than 600 suggestions sent in by Chester County residents of all ages. \u00a0Zeeke and Moose were chosen because they are short, powerful and easy for the dogs to understand.<\/p>\n<p>Zeeke is expected to join his new partner, Deputy Matthew Moyer, this week.<\/p>\n<p>Moose met members of the Chester County Sheriff\u2019s Office last week. Moose was a name submitted by a handful of people.\u00a0 The reason why Moose was chosen?\u00a0 \u201cHe simply wagged his tail in approval at the mention of the name,\u201d said Chester County Sheriff Fredda Maddox.
