Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700 S. High Street, West Chester. General Admission tickets are $7 at\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wcupatix.com\/\">www.wcupatix.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wells School of Music\u2019s Director of Opera Nicholas Provenzale says, \u201cWe are thrilled to return to the stage with ROBIN HOOD, a classic tale of triumph over corruption with a modern twist. Sung in English and just under an hour long, this ROBIN HOOD is packed with action and beautiful music.\u00a0 We invite the entire community to join us in this fun, family-friendly adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moore and Rourke\u2019s ROBIN HOOD premiered in 2017 at the Glimmerglass Festival, a professional summer opera company dedicated to producing new works. West Chester University\u2019s production will be the show\u2019s collegiate premiere. Composer Ben Moore will meet via zoom with West Chester opera students on Wednesday, November 3, for coaching and a question and answer session.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will be an honor and a wonderful learning experience for our students to meet with the composer,\u201d says Provenzale.\u00a0 \u201cWe are grateful for Ben\u2019s participation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cast of ROBIN HOOD includes Won Kim (Elkins Park, PA) as the title character and Evelyn Stohlman (Dumfries, VA) as Marion. Other cast members include: Albert Gonzalez as Sheriff (Scranton, PA), Sofia Bobrysheva as Scarlet (Downingtown, PA), Aaron Hungerford as King Richard (New Holland, PA), Jessica McNeely as Scout (Yardley, PA), Jamie Quinter as Ronnie the Riveter (West Chester, PA), Abigail Agulnick as Jackie the Janitor (Parkesburg, PA), Matthew Quarles as Sam the Scribe (Eden, NY), Joseph Galdi as Jo the Jailor (King of Prussia, PA), and Micah Leary (Eden, NY) as a collaborative pianist.<\/p>\n<p>Limited parking is available across and along the street just outside the Philips Memorial Building. Parking is also available in West Chester\u2019s M Lot, just a short walk South. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>All faculty, staff, students, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask which covers their nose and mouth when indoors.
